If any of you guys are thinking that I’m advertising a method of birth control on this blog, you’re wrong. The drawing’s supposed to be a silly little moment that my ex-roommate A.J. and I had while we were living together. I remember hanging around the kitchen area, when I heard A.J. laughing from the living room. I asked him what was so funny, and he came to me with the pictured sign. For him, it was like saying, “No pregnant women allowed!” We both got a good laugh out of this interpretation.
This drawing marks my third attempt at coloring in Photoshop, and thanks to my ex-boyfriend Andrew’s advice, the third time ended up being the charm. I’m so pleased with the results, that I’m already thinking of other drawings that I could give that old-timey, grainy-photo touch to. Actually, I’ve got one in the works right now, so stay tuned!
