Quick sketch in Toon Boom Storyboard Pro of the terrible incident that occurred in the “Family Guy”/”American Dad” kitchen yesterday, where my glass “Family Guy” plate broke in half after falling against the sink faucet. I was washing it and it just slipped out of my soapy hands. My current director Jerry Langford, “Family Guy” storyboard artist Rob Bou-Saab, and two other dudes were happily playing Magic: The Gathering, when they witnessed the demise of my beloved plate that was given to me as a company Christmas gift two years ago.
All might not be lost, however, as my plate only broke into two pieces rather than shattering into a thousand shards as glass commonly does. Perhaps epoxy will do the trick. We shall see.
